Alignment of up to 3 axles on Class 6-8 heavy duty tractors and trucks. Base price includes our Alignment Diagnostic Inspection Service -- a 50+ point tire, steering, suspension, & axle inspection during which we assess the condition of critical components, diagnose issues, & develop a full report. Our base price includes toe and thrust adjustments on up to three axles for on-road HD trucks plus axle centering on drive axles. Additional charges may apply if other work is required.
Alignment of up to 2 axles on Class 4-5 medium duty trucks. Base price includes our Alignment Diagnostic Inspection Service -- a 30+ point tire, steering, suspension, & axle inspection for medium duty two-axle, two-wheel drive vehicles during which we assess the condition of critical components, diagnose issues, & develop a full report. The base price includes all basic adjustments. Additional charges may apply if additional work is required or for certain 4-wheel drive models
Most trucks don't require caster adjustment during a normal alignment. When they do, this add-on service includes standard caster wedges & basic installation. Does not include cost of fasteners or other hardware that may require replacement based on condition or inverted spring installation geometry.
An un-centered steering wheel isn't caused by a simple misalignment, & cannot be corrected through basic alignment procedures alone. Don't fall for what many shops will do (re-mount the steering wheel in the wrong position). Once we diagnose the issue we'll provide a quote for any additional cost.
Labor only on steer axle kingpins able to be replaced with no-ream replacement kingpins. Parts cost is in addition to the the $1,199 and vary by model. When present, seized kingpins, axle eyehole damage, and steering knuckle damage requiring reaming or boring and sleeving will increase the price. Advertised price is conditional on Axle Tuners supplying all parts & having access to a level, paved or concrete surface.

When steering kingpin issues are excessive, the bore hole intended to rigidly connect the axle to the steering knuckle can be damaged and require this procedure in which we cut a straight, oversized bore into the axle and press in a metal sleeve to restore the factory tolerances. This is critical to preventing a new set of kingpins from quickly going bad. Our precision equipment allows us to do this procedure on the truck without removing the axle, saving on downtime and labor cost.
For axles with pressed on or permanently affixed trailing arms (a.k.a. dog bones / suspension beams) using the Hendrickson-style tri-functional narrow beam bushings, we can replace the bushing tube, bushing housing, or bushing ring. This can save thousands of dollars and days of down time compared to replacing an otherwise perfectly good axle as the result of thinning or damaged housing material around the bushings.
We cut out the damaged section of hanger, then weld in a custom fabricated plate to restore the hanger's ability to receive and control the concentric and eccentric collar that controls bushing alignment on compatible systems, getting your asset back on the road for thousands of dollars cheaper and in less than a day. *$576 price applies if Axle Tuners is also performing the bushing replacement and providing the parts. $688 is for cut & weld service only.

Bad driveshaft carrier bearings can cause vibration, premature u-joint failure, & cause you to fail a DOT inspection. Improper alignment of rear axles, ride-height, & other factors that go undiagnosed but generalist shops can cause repeat failures. We're happy to ensure a proper diagnosis & repair.
